Züflo - Robert Guggenbühl's top aquarium breeder flakes with spirulina and squid
General information
Robert Guggenbühl (Honorary President of Aquaria St. Gallen, Chairman of the DCG Switzerland) writes in the introduction to his article in the DATZ:
"My cichlids and killifish in around 40 aquariums want to be fed in a species-appropriate way. What's more, the wild-caught fish I bring back from my trips to the tropics are much more demanding than acclimatised animals."
His many years of involvement with the feeding of aquarium fish have led to an increasingly clear understanding of the requirements for very high-quality yet affordable fish food.
We try to do without artificial colourings and added flavourings. High doses of vitamin C and E are used to ensure good shelf life. Different sources are combined to maximise the variety of proteins.
The different protein suppliers promise good growth. The addition of canthaxanthin as a colouring agent not only enables an intensification of the red but also of the yellow, green and blue pigments.
There are now 3 years of experience with the use of this food. The fish enjoy beautiful colours, good growth and excellent health. The valuable ingredients are easily digestible and therefore pollute the water less than cheap food with a high proportion of indigestible components.

Sprinkle onto the water several times a day in small portions, do not feed too much.
Due to the absence of added attractants, fragrances, and flavourings, it is possible that the flakes may be accepted somewhat hesitantly at first, especially if the animals were previously used to food enriched with such substances. In this case, a little patience is required; after 2 - 3 days the reluctance will diminish. You can make the transition easier by initially mixing the flakes with another food which is readily accepted (e.g. frozen red mosquito larvae).

Züflo - Breeder flakes with spirulina and squid
Long search and finally found a food that does not stain and therefore does not change the colour of my small aquarium. The fish like to eat it.

I think this food is very good. The fish really like eating it, it doesn't sink too quickly and is free from artificial attractants. The full declaration of ingredients is exemplary. It really is a great place to buy.

Züflo - Breeder flakes with spirulina and squid
Me again,
I have also had very good experiences with this product.
I alternate between frozen food, dried mosquito larvae and Züflo. My fish have taken to the Züflo
very well right from the start, they show very nice colours and seem to feel very happy.

Züflo - Breeder flakes with spirulina and squid
Hello!
Contrary to my expectations, my East Africans accepted the food without any problems. No spitting out or anything similar. Now it remains to be seen whether there is a positive change (colour pigmentation etc.).
A second assessment will then follow...

Züflo - Breeder flakes with spirulina and squid
Despite my doubts, I tried the Züflo flakes. I am delighted and so are my fish.
I have finally realised what it means to only feed as much as the fish can eat within a few minutes. The food I used previously was already on the aquarium sand after just a few seconds. The Züflo stays in suspension for a long time. This means that all fish have something to eat, regardless of whether they are at the bottom in the centre or at the top.

Züflo - Breeder flakes with spirulina and squid
Hello, I have been using the flakes for about 8 weeks now. On a positive note, the colours of my Cyprichromis leptosoma have become even brighter since I started feeding them! However, it seems that the food doesn't really taste good... It takes a lot of patience and effort to mix it in with their usual food so that the fish will take it at all. What a pity...

Hello, my brilliant tetras ...
Züflo - Breeder flakes with spirulina and squid
Hello,
my brilliant tetras did not accept the food "hesitantly" but ate it up in no time at all the first time.
Apart from that: great support, extremely fast delivery, excellent product.

I have been using the food for...
Züflo - Breeder flakes with spirulina and squid
I've been using the food for a few weeks now and have to say that most fish like it very much. However, shrimps are also enthusiastic about this food. The food sinks relatively quickly and is therefore also available for bottom dwellers.
A particularly positive aspect is that there are no colourings or flavour enhancers.

Hello Andreas, I can do that...
Züflo - Breeder flakes with spirulina and squid
Hello Andreas,
I can also highly recommend the Züflo.
My diamond rainbow fish, the Crystal Red shrimps and also the orange dwarf crayfish have gone wild for the flakes. :-)
Best regards
Jürgen Endres
