Robert Guggenbühl(Honorary President of Aquaria St. Gallen, Chairman of DCG Switzerland) writes about the introduction of the breeder bits:
"Firstly, many thanks to our loyal customers of the tried and tested breeder flakes. Word has got around about the quality of our food. The customer base of pet shops and ornamental fish breeders is growing all the time. We have received almost exclusively positive feedback from end consumers. Sometimes it takes a short familiarisation period for the fish to eat the food greedily. We do not use any artificial flavourings.
The great success with the flake has now encouraged us to also produce an extrudate in the form of bits (approx. 1.5 × 0.5 mm). We are again working with the proven feed company Interquell. The bits have a slightly higher protein and fat content and are therefore particularly suitable for growing fish. A real innovation in the extrudate is the addition of a small amount of cocoa. As with the flake, the enclosed product sheet shows the high-quality composition in full transparency. The quality argument applies to both products."
Different protein sources (fish meal, krill, spirulina, yeast, etc.) suggest good growth. The addition of the colour enhancer canthaxanthin significantly intensifies the colouring of the red, yellow, green and blue pigments of your fish.

Here as supplementary food
Great addition to the sticks for smaller fish.
Good swimming/sinking behaviour and retains its shape, i.e. does not disintegrate into mush.
My tetras love it. Great as a supplement to frozen/live food.

The breeder bits are a good addition to the flake food. I bought it for my catfish and they take it very well.
