Spirulina
Spirulina is a very protein-rich algae that is apparently palatable to many fish. Is next to Chlorella another microalgae often used in animal feed.
Belongs to the blue-green algae and originally comes from the salty lakes in the Mexico City area. It was cultivated there by the Maya to meet the protein requirements of the urban population.
