Water test for determining the iron concentration (Fe) - suitable for freshwater and saltwater aquariums. Up to 63 tests possible.
Iron test set Instructions for use
- Rinse the cuvette several times with the water to be tested and then fill up with exactly 5 ml of water *
- Add 5 drops of the solution from the reagent bottle. Close the vial and shake several times.
- If iron is present, the solution will slowly change colour. After 5 minutes you can read the result.
To do this, hold the cuvette close to the colour chart, look into it from above and compare the colour of the reagent solution with the colour chart, if possible in daylight (no direct sunlight).
* The meniscus of the water surface must touch the 5 ml graduation mark exactly
Please refer to the instructions for the respective preparations for the desired iron concentrations.
Caution
Clean the cuvette after use, close the reagent bottle tightly and store in a cool, dry place away from light
