Component A for calcium and carbonate hardness dosage according to the Balling method.
It contains all the trace elements, which also contain sea salt.
It is also very well suited for supplying trace minerals and hardening in fresh water.
Application
“Normal” sea salt contains almost 78 % common salt as its main ingredient. Since the hardening of sea water aquariums with calcium chloride and sodium hydrogencarbonate using the Balling method, besides calcium, also introduces lots of common salt, the proportion of sea salt that is not common salt is lacking. Sealutions Mineral Salt provides the third component here, ensuring that a balanced amount of ions is provided in accordance with the Balling method.
Due to its high magnesium, mineral and trace element content, Sealutions Mineral Salt is of course also suitable for hardening and mineralization of freshwater. The oft recommended use of sea salt for this purpose has, by contrast, significant disadvantages. High salt content (~ 78 %) does not contribute to hardening, but only to an increase in conductance and alters the ratios of the ion pairs sodium/potassium and chloride/sulfate into a state to which the fewest freshwater residents are physiologically adapted.
In brief this approach only leads to problems that are easily avoided using Sealutions Mineral Salt.
Dosage
Hardening and mineralization in freshwater
Sealutions Mineral Salt dissolved in RO-water dissolved in UO-water yields approximately the following values:

Balling method for calcium addition in sea water

in every 2 l of water. Maintain the carbonate hardness by daily addition of equal quantities of the three solutions, in the range of 9 - 11° dH. From empirical observation, for a 300 l reef tank you initially require just 100 ml of each solution daily. Depending on the need you will have to somewhat increase or decrease the daily dose subsequently in order to stay within the desired target range of the CH.
Instructions for use
The following tips are helpful when dissolving Sealutions Mineral Salt:
Please lay out the bulk of the water in advance and dissolve the Mineral Salt in portions, stirring vigorously.
If, by contrast, ones lays out the salt first and then adds water, especially in smaller portions, insoluble carbonates form on account of local concentration peaks, which do not readily dissolve, even after a long time. One can use the supernatant solution, or, in fresh water, simply add the sediment into the basin, where it usually dissolves rapidly.

Hervorragendes Produkt
Eines der besten Mineralsalze, das ich je verwendet habe. Es löst sich sehr gut, enthält relativ wenig Chlorid und ist ausführlich deklariert. Ich habe zudem den Eindruck, als fühlten sich meine Fische und Pflanzen wohler, seit ich es verwende ! Einziges Manko: Es wäre prima, wenn auch eine 500 g - Dose angeboten werden würde, so eine 1 kg - Dose ist doch recht viel, ich kaufe lieber kleinere Gebinde. Trotzdem klare Kaufempfehlung !

LEider nicht mehr so gut, wie es mal war
Bisher war ich mit diesem Mineralsalz immer sehr zufrieden. Leider hat sich die Zusammensetzung geändert, so dass es sich jetzt nicht mehr so gut auflöst. Damit bin ich leider nicht mehr so zufrieden.

Sehr gutes Salz
Top Mineralsalz mit einer sehr guten Löslichkeit. Ich verwende es als zusätzliche Spurenelement-Quelle in meinen Aquarien und bin sehr zufrieden. Das Salz löst sich schnell auf, und da die Inhaltsstoffe angegeben sind, weiß man auch, was man zugibt.

schnelle Lieferung, Ware top, bei Bedarf jederzeit wieder. Salz ist sehr fein, verklumpt nicht, löst sich schnell auf. Habe kein preisgünstigeres Aufhärtesalz für Malawibecken gefunden.
