Special complete iron fertiliser for intensive plant tanks
These include high-light tanks and very densely planted tanks. Developed by Hans-Georg Kramer.
The aquatic plant specialist and specialist author Hans-Georg Kramer has empirically developed a fertiliser over many years that shows its qualities especially in well-planted aquariums, especially if these are also strongly lit.
The use of four different chelators in a special proportioning and an extremely wide range of trace elements including so-called "beneficial elements" helps to cultivate even the most demanding plants.
Dosing instructions
First determine the effective amount of water in your aquarium by subtracting the volume of substrate, internal filter and large decorative items. The easiest way to do this is with a metre rule or tape measure.
Then determine the lighting factor by calculating the total illuminance of your lighting in lumens and dividing it by the net volume of your aquarium.
Up to an actual water height of approx. 40 cm, you can multiply the wattage of T5 fluorescent lamps and metal halide lamps by a factor of 1.2 to take into account their higher luminance and therefore depth effect.
The calculated lighting factor only applies when using high-quality reflectors, without which only approx. 50 % of the light in the aquarium is available. The luminaire should be optimally ventilated, as the light output of the lamps decreases at higher temperatures.
LED lamps are included in the calculation with the full amount of light, as they have a highly directional light due to their principle.
- With average lighting factors of approx. 30 lumen/l you need approx. 10 ml / week / 100 litres of water KramerDrak
- For high light aquariums from 40 lumen/l are approx. 12 ml / week / 100 litres of water KramerDrak is recommended
- More than 15 ml / week / 100 litres of KramerDrak water did not lead to an improvement in any case
The luminous efficacy of a fluorescent or metal vapour lamp with electronic ballast roughly corresponds to 70 - 90 lumen/watt. This means that the above figures can be converted accordingly for older lighting systems.

20,980 mg/l potassium, 3,440 mg/l magnesium, 1.875 mg/l iron, 715 mg/l manganese, 92 mg/l copper, 80 mg/l zinc, 70 mg/l boron, 43 mg/l molybdenum, 25 mg/l cobalt, 1.n, 25 mg/l cobalt, 6.6 mg/l lithium, 6.5 mg/l vanadium, 6.3 mg/l aluminium, 6.3 mg/l nickel, 6 mg/l selenium, 5.3 mg/l tin, EDTA, HEEDTA, DTPA, NTA or IDHA*, (ascorbic acid)*, methylparaben, benzoic acid.

Weekly addition at a dosage of 10 ml / week / 100 litres
2.1 mg/l potassium, 344 µg/l magnesium, 187.5 µg/l iron, 71.5 µg/l manganese, 9.2 µg/l copper, 8 µg/l zinc, 7 µg/l boron, 4.3 µg/l molybdenumn, 2.5 µg/l cobalt, 0.66 µg/l lithium, 0.65 µg/l vanadium, 0.63 µg/l aluminium, 0.63 µg/l nickel, 0.6 µg/l selenium, 0.53 µg/l tin
Shelf life
Store in a dark (the metal chelate complexes are UV-sensitive) and cool place - minimum shelf life 3 years.

Best fertiliser for high light tanks
Easy to use and absolutely safe, everything grows and thrives. Even plants that are otherwise supposed to grow very slowly proliferate and spread. Anubias sprouts leaves, lush green and also blooms under water. The only disadvantage: where to put all the green waste from the aquarium?
