Please observe the following instructions, otherwise you may irreparably damage the TFC membrane:
The reverse osmosis system is designed for a water pipe pressure of 3 to 5 bar. If the water line pressure is higher, you should install a pressure reducer.
Do not take the system out of operation for long periods, otherwise there is a risk of bacterial infestation. Only use cold tap water of max. 20 °C.
*In drinking water treatment and aquaristics, membranes are usually used that are wound in several layers in a spiral. These membranes are known as TFC membranes (Thin Film Composite).
