The horseradish tree Moringa oleifera originally comes from the south-west Himalayan region of India and is now cultivated in tropical regions around the world. Its leaves provide us aquarists with a natural and extremely nutritious food for shrimps, crabs, crayfish and catfish. They have a high protein content (6.7 % in the fresh product), are rich in vitamins (especially A and C) and have a high mineral content (calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron and sodium), which makes them a particularly valuable feed.
The leaves also contain ingredients with anti-inflammatory properties and the plant hormone zeatin. Zeatin promotes plant growth, so in addition to an excellent feed you also get a plant fertiliser as a bonus.
The antioxidant effect of the leaves should also be emphasised (antioxidants are of great physiological importance in the organism as radical scavengers). In general, Moringa helps to strengthen the immune system and prevent diseases.
Use
Either add the dried moringa leaves directly to the pool or scald them briefly with warm to hot water beforehand so that they sink more quickly.

There's quite a lot in there
my shrimps and snails really like the leaves, they become very soft in the water later on.
25g is a good portion - it lasts for a while.
