Guava leaves contain large amounts of minerals, fibre and vitamins and can therefore help prevent moulting problems in crabs and shrimps. They also have a preventative effect against bacterial diseases.
The tender leaves are readily accepted by shrimps and crayfish as well as bottom-dwelling fish (e.g. loricariid catfish). The leaves are a welcome change of food.
We recommend briefly scalding the leaves before use, as this breaks up the cell structure, the leaves sink to the bottom faster and are accepted more quickly.
Dosage
1 leaf per 10 litres of water. 3 leaves for 60 litres of water.

Wirkung ist schwer zu beobachten, weder durch Farbänderung noch durch Verhalten der Fische
