DRAK filter packing 500 ml

  • One of the best filter materials currently available on the market
  • Very high colonisation surface for beneficial bacteria
  • Specially designed to meet the requirements of aquariums and ponds and packaged in handy 500 ml nets
  • One net is sufficient for a 50 litre tank. For larger tanks, simply order the appropriate number of nets

In contrast to many conventional filter materials, these filter media are made of plasticiser-free, high-quality polyethylene, are pH and hardness-neutral and resistant to rot and fungal growth. Therefore, neither plasticisers nor other toxic substances can be released. The material also does not harden over time.

The small, cogwheel-like shape of the fillers increases the colonisation surface, making them suitable for even the smallest filters. The "light" filling in the filter tank improves the flow rate of the water, preventing the formation of oxygen-depleting mulm nests. The large, porous surface offers filter bacteria an optimum colonisation area, which is why the otherwise annoying filter cleaning can be reduced to just a few times a year. This is done in no time at all by simply washing it out under running water!

Very satisfied

I have been using it for years in a 54 litre tank with an internal filter. No more clogged filter material at last. Easy to use.

Good product

Mesh of the filter elements not too small, therefore easy to insert into the filter baskets.
Aquarium runs with filter floss and the filtAS filter media without any problems.
Let's see how long they keep their shape.
