Application

Anyone who has ever set up an aquarium or garden pond is familiar with the more or less strong, whitish turbidity that often makes new aquariums and ponds a less than pleasing sight in the first few days. This is mainly due to the release of impurities from gravel and decoration material as well as the new technical equipment. Experienced old aquarists or pond owners have therefore often prepared an old, well-run-in filter. This is able to filter out this turbidity in a short time.

But what should everyone else do?

In these cases, the water clarifier Visidrakon can help wonderfully. A few drops of the solution added to the strongest current in the tank and quickly distributed will quickly cause the turbidity to flocculate.
Flocculation means that the microscopically small clay particles, protein colloids, suspended algae and bacteria first combine to form small flakes and then larger and larger ones. These flocs sink faster due to their higher density and can be easily siphoned off or collected by the filter.
The fact that phosphate and other pollutants are also bound in the flocs during this flocculation process is a further advantage.

How does Visidrakon do this?

Such turbid substances as well as bacteria and microscopic algae often have the same electrical charges on their surface, which, due to electrostatic repulsion, ensure that the particles do not stick together and can float in the water. The introduction of highly charged ions such as ^Fe3+ prevents this repulsion and ensures rapid clumping.

In the case of floating algae and bacterial blooms (mass proliferation), it may be necessary to repeat the application several times, as algae and bacteria can regenerate from small residues within a day after the flocculation process has been completed.
In the case of multiple applications, a major water change is absolutely necessary after the 3rd application at the latest in order to prevent an excessive drop in pH and KH.

8 drops / 20 litres of water or 2 ml / 100 litres of water
Do not overdose unnecessarily!
Consumes approx. 0.2 ° d carbonate hardness per application

Do not use at the same time as water conditioners and aquatic plant fertilisers. These preparations may only be used several hours after the application of Visidrakon.
Otherwise the desired effect will not be achieved and the iron content of the aquarium water will be increased too much.
If necessary, you should carry out a major water change before use if you have recently used water conditioners or fertilisers.
