Terrdrakon NPK fertiliser pellets - targeted root fertilisation for all aquarium plants
The tried-and-tested Terrdrakon NPK pellets are now available as a DRAK product - with optimised packaging and the same high-quality formulation.
The plants extend their roots towards the clay pellets and thereby obtain the necessary nutrients directly from the Terrdrakon NPK fertiliser pellets. The relatively impermeable clay prevents the fertiliser from being released immediately into the surrounding environment and the aquarium water.
Why Terrdrakon NPK pellets?
- With valuable, air-dried clay
- Filled with high-quality NPK fertiliser (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium)
- Contains important minerals and trace elements such as iron, magnesium, boron and zinc
- Ideal for heavy feeders such as Cryptocorynes, Echinodorus and other root plants
- Each pellet is carefully handmade
- Long-term effect directly in the root zone - without unnecessarily burdening the water
Clay pellets as root fertiliser have a long tradition in aquatics and are particularly effective when plants show signs of deficiency despite good water fertilisation.
Application
1 - 3 Terrdrakon NPK pellets press into the substrate next to or under the plant depending on plant size. When setting up a new aquarium, the pellets can be evenly distributed. Please do not use more than 3 - 4 pellets per 100 l.
Depending on the number of plants and growth, repeat fertilisation every 3 to 6 months is advisable.
Important: The pellets should be placed directly into the substrate. If stored in water for prolonged periods, they soften and may dissolve.
Composition
Clay as a natural product consists predominantly of swellable layered silicates (SiO2, Al2O3, Fe2O3) with high ion exchange capacity.
NPK core:
15 % total nitrogen (N), 3 % total phosphate (P2O5): 20 % total potassium oxide (K2O), trace elements (magnesium, sulphur and boron).
Contents
12 pellets (DRAK) - long-term supply for vigorous plant growth
Plant growth depends on several factors. In principle, a plant always needs all growth substances in sufficient quantities in order to thrive well. Even if the water is well fertilised, plants will show signs of deficiency and stagnant growth if nutrients are lacking in the root zone.
