Granulated Black Peat Micro for water softening with particularly strong effect. Grain size is only 0.5 to 2.4 mm.
Up to 40 % higher performance than the standard pellets.
The contained humic acid is gently released into the water and the pH-value is lowered. Works as prophylaxis against algae und mould growth.
Ingredients
Pure unpolluted North German Black Peat, manufactured in Germany (1 l ~ 400 - 450 g).
Effectiveness
Releases humic-acids and in doing reduces the carbonate hardness and the ph-value.
Acts as a weak acid ion exchanger, takes in calcium- and magnesium-ions - and sinks in this way the total hardness and the pH-value.
Humic-acids effectively lowers the pH-value, acts against bacteria and fungi.
Dosage
1 l Granulated Black Peat will suffice for approx. 800 - 1,000 l water depending on pH value and carbonate hardness of the origin water.
The Granulated Black Peat should be exchanged every 4 to 8 weeks. After use you may compost the peat or dispose it in the biological waste.
Tip: A net stocking filled with peat, placed in the rainwater barrel, is quite reliable in preventing the growth of tiresome midges!

Gut verpackt und Wirksamkeit f...
Gut verpackt und Wirksamkeit für den Kh Bereich in der Aquaristik hat mich überzeugt, hat meinen gwünschten KH- Breich bei 450l mit ca. 800 ml für 4 Wochen bei wöchentlichen 30-50% Wasserwechsel auf KH 4 gehalten.
