Fulvodracon - concentrated fulvic and humic acids
Essential humic substances for the inhabitants of your aquarium
- Contains important fulvic and humic acids
- Contributes to increasing agility and well-being
- For acclimatisation and regular operation
- Suitable for all aquarium inhabitants
With Fulvodrakon you have the opportunity to add important humic and fulvic acids to the aquarium water and thus create near-natural and species-appropriate conditions for the aquarium inhabitants. Humic substances are found in varying quantities in practically all natural living waters*. Particularly well known are black water-habitats are particularly well known for their extraordinarily high concentrations of humic substances (humic substances are responsible for their tea-like colouring), but they are also found in abundance in other types of water. However, our waterworks remove these substances almost completely from the tap water supplied because of their colouring and flavouring properties.
However, no aquarium should be without humic substances. Their positive properties on aquatic life, the increase in vitality, colourfulness and well-being have now been scientifically proven many times over. So if they are missing in the original water, we should definitely add them.
Effect
Humic and fulvic acids contribute to species-appropriate husbandry. As they are present in almost every environment in nature, aquatic organisms are adapted to them and even low concentrations, which are barely visible in the water, have positive effects. In experiments with daphnia, it has been proven that the reproduction rate and mobility can be increased as an indicator of well-being.
An increasing number of recent studies on humic substances have shown an extraordinary range of positive effects on living organisms. They are based, for example, on the deactivation of toxins as insoluble complexes or on the fact that cell membranes and mucous membranes are blocked for harmful substances by fulvic and humic acids. In this way, vitality, colourfulness and well-being can be increased, reproduction stimulated, the survival rate of offspring improved and healthy growth achieved in general.
In addition to these indirect effects, more and more direct positive effects on organisms are also being discovered. These include the strengthening of the immune system and direct antiviral properties. In the aquarium, microbiology is improved because pathogenic pathogens, bacteria, viruses and fungi are inhibited.
In addition, humic substances are still weak buffers and stabilise the pH even at low carbonate hardness.
Prof. Dr Christian Steinberg (Chair of Aquatic Ecology at the Humboldt University of Berlin), a profound expert on this subject, considers them indispensable in aquaristics anyway. While in classical ecology it was still assumed that humic substances only had an indirect influence on animals, their direct effect on organisms and their almost vital character have now been proven.

Dosage
For ongoing maintenance weekly after changing the water
- 3 - 7 ml per 100 litres of water
For blackwater tanks, in the quarantine of new arrivals and to support disease treatment weekly
- 10 - 20 ml per 100 litres of water
Composition
The natural raw material for Fulvodrakon is carefully extracted from a groundwater source. This results in good suitability for aquaristics and aquaculture as well as significantly better bioavailability than chemically extracted fulvic acids.
Crude ash: 14 %, humic acid: 2 %, fulvic acid: 17.5 %, sodium: 37,500 mg/kg
After adding 1 ml of fulvodracon to 10 litres of water, it therefore contains 17.5 mg/l of fulvic acid and 2 mg/l of humic acid

Indispensable from my point of view
I have been using this product for about 4 years as a continuous supplement via a Süchting Dosator. Since switching to Drak products about 2 years ago, my fish already seemed livelier and I could already observe a further improvement with the initial use of Fulvokrakon. Now, with a little more distance, I can see that the life expectancy of the animals has also increased. Contrary to the standard recommendation of a weekly dosage, which in my case caused the water to darken too much in my opinion until it broke down, I switched to the above-mentioned continuous dosage after consulting Dr Kremser at the time.

The right care for fish from soft water areas
I use Aquadrakon Black water conditioner every 2 weeks after the water change and Fulvodrakon every week between the water changes.I add 5ml to 200 litres of water, the water is a beautiful amber colour, but crystal clear. My fish love it,they are in great shape and my biotope looks very natural.5 stars.👍

Recommendation!
Very good article, visible well-being for shrimps and ZBB. Nice "colouring" of the water for South American tanks. Very economical!

If Humine, then from DR. Andreas Kremser
The only humic preparation I have a good feeling about. Whether it is Humin DSO, Liquid humin +, etc. The exact content is not declared anywhere. I am now sticking with Fulvodrakon and will soon be buying larger quantities for my 840 litres.

THE discovery for me
THE discovery for me, my disc tetras are much more agile, more beautifully coloured. One of the guys had a bloated belly and bulging eyes, I had the worst fears. After regularly adding Fulvodrakon, the condition improved within a week and now the fish is indistinguishable from its swarm mates. For me, it is now indispensable at every water change!

Tested, found to be very good
Of course you can also collect and use alder cones. Or some people use special tea.
With the Fulvodrakon, however, you can achieve the desired colouring in a very targeted way using the quantity.
I can confirm that the fish somehow make a more vital impression.
Maybe it's just my imagination and it might have happened the same way without it.
But my Microctenopoma fasciolatum have definitely become even braver, they were never that shy.
And the Alestopetersius smykalai are definitely more likely to be seen outside feeding time.
Here they are used weekly, 20ml in the 350 and 10ml in the 190.

Great product
We have been using Fluvodrakon in our community tank for 3 weeks now and are very satisfied. Depending on the dosage, the water takes on a slightly brownish or tea-coloured hue. However, it remains absolutely clear!
The colouring makes the colours of the fish and plants really stand out and our gourami have become a little "bolder". After approx. 1 week, the colouration has almost completely disappeared and you therefore also have an indicator for the next partial water change.

Unreserved recommendation to buy
I share the opinion of the previous speakers 100%. I have been using the product for 4 months, the fish are more stress-resistant during water changes and are generally more lively. The colouring of the water looks much more natural than when the artificial LED light floods the tank unchecked. Plant growth is not affected in any way. Definite recommendation to buy!
