Hardening salt mixture to increase the total hardness
Especially recommended for shrimp, crayfish and Malawi tanks
Dissolves easily and without clouding
Dosage
Just 1.45 g / 50 litres of water increases the GH by approx. 1° dH
Composition
33.5 % chloride, 15.9 % calcium, 14.4 % sulphate, 5.4 % magnesium, 1.1 % potassium, 0.4 % carbonate, 0.1 % trace elements, remainder: crystal water
Instructions for use
Do not mix directly with KH-Plus preparations, but dissolve separately and, if possible, dilute and add individually so that no turbidity can form in the form of insoluble calcium and magnesium carbonates.
Please add the main quantity of water and dissolve GH-Plus in portions while stirring vigorously.
If, on the other hand, the salt is added and water is added, especially in smaller portions, insoluble carbonates are easily formed due to local concentration peaks, which do not dissolve easily even after a longer period of time. You can use the supernatant solution or simply add the sediment to the tank, where it usually dissolves quickly.

Ideal even for beginners in hardening
I have not had to harden my water for 30 years - on the contrary. I now use the GH+ (with well water 1°dGH) and am completely satisfied. Of course, it takes a bit of calculation and a precision balance is a must for me. But if you use it as described on this page (dissolve small amounts of salt in large quantities of water - NOT the other way round), it works really well. I gradually stir it into a 10-litre bucket of water. The good thing for me is that I can use GH+ and KH+ separately and depending on the occupants of the tanks. THANK YOU for this development :-)

Dosaggi da istruzioni non corretti
Il prodotto è buono ma i dosaggi non corrispondo.
1,45 dovrebbero alzare di 1 il gh in 50 LT ma non basta, ci vogliono circa 2 gr.
Per portare 50 LT a gh 7 occorrono 15 gr e non 10,5 come dice l'etichetta!

Works perfectly
I get exactly the result I want with the instructions on the pack.
No problems. Doesn't dissolve so badly, in my opinion (see instructions for use).
A precision scale is an advantage, but an aquarist should have one in the house. I once bought the following for €15 from the big river (without as):

Duradrakon GH-Plus
Duradrakon GH-Plus works as promised. What is a little annoying is the waiting time until the correct end result is achieved. You have to dose carefully. Otherwise I can only recommend the product.
