Clay balls have been used as fertilizers since the pioneering days of fish keeping, but since then seem to have been somewhat forgotten.
The plants drive their roots into the clay balls and thus obtain the necessary nutrients directly from the Terrdrakon NPK fertilizer balls. The water-resistant clay prevents the fertilizer from being released immediately to the environment and to the aquarium water. Nitrates and phosphates in particular thus remain where they belong: in the plants!
Application
Depending on the size of the plant, press 1 - 3 Terrdrakon NPK balls into the substrate next to or underneath the plant to be fertilised. The aquarium plants push their roots through the balls very quickly. The balls can be evenly distributed in the substrate even when the aquarium is re-equipped. Please do not use more than 3-4 balls per 100 l of water for this.
Refertilisation is necessary every 3 to 6 months depending on the growth rate and quantity of the plants.
Please insert the balls into the substrate immediately. They are not intended to lie in the water for long periods, as otherwise they soften up, dissolve and can then no longer be inserted in the substrate. Removal of the remnants of the balls is then very time-consuming.
Composition
Clay is a natural product and essentially consists of swellable (alumino-)silicate layers (chemical formulae in varying amounts: SiO₂, Al₂O₃, Fe₂O₃) with ion exchange possibilities.
250 mg NPK fertilizer per ball: 14 % N (5,5 % N nitric nitrogen; 8,5 % N ammonical nitrogen); 7 % P₂O₅ neutral-ammonium-citrate-soluble and water-soluble phosphate; 17 % K₂O water-soluble potassium oxide; 2 % MgO magnesium oxide; 0.02 % B Bor; 0.01 % Zn zinc.
* The growth rate of the plants always depends on several factors. A plant always needs sufficient quantities of all growing media to thrive. Even when the water is well fertilised, plants may suffer from deficiencies and stagnating growth if the nutrients are absent in the root area.

Bester Wurzeldünger
Benutze die NPK Kugeln seit 1Jahr.Ich bin begeistert,meine Echis sehen toll aus, kräftige Farben,kräftige Wurzeln und sehr guter Wuchs.Von mir 5 Sterne.👍

Perfekte Ergänzung für die Wurzelbereiche
"Obenrum" den Ferrdrakon, für "Unterrum" die Düngetonkugeln. Alle 6 Monate Dünge ich die Wurzelbereiche der Pflanzen, die es benötigen, mit dem NPK & SE Kugeln nach. Im ganzen Dünge ich sparsam, also eher etwas weniger als auf der Anleitung angegeben. Aquarien laufen hier ohne CO2, Beleuchtung nicht zu hell (auch weil ich die Wasserfarbe mit Fulvodrakon verschönere). Läuft seit Jahren. PS: Mein Sand, 0.4 - 1.4 mm Körnung, bleibt ansonsten unangetastet, ich entferne nur größere Mengen von sichtbar groben Mulm an der Oberfläche.

Wie in den Anfängen meiner Aquarienzeit
Früher habe ich diese Kugeln selbst aus Ton und Dünger herstellt um das Taschengeld zu schonen. Heute und auch in Ermangelung von Ton freue ich mich sehr über das Produkt. Ich nutze es hauptsächlich an einer Echinodorus "Osiris doppelt Rot" und wir freuen uns jede Woche über ein neues Blatt an dieser Pflanze.

Nutze diese Düngekugeln für Echinodoruspflanzen und bin schon nach kurzer Zeit sehr von dem Produkt überzeugt. Pflanzen wachsen deutlich merkbar besser.
