More and more aquarists are becoming enthusiastic about gobies in the aquarium. The authors of this handy primer have been working intensively with these rather unusual animals for a long time and are now presenting a first book for beginners that deals exclusively with gobies for freshwater and brackish water aquariums.

Around 30 particularly beautiful and interesting species are presented, some of which have already been successfully bred. Like all species that form territories and breed, gobies also display interesting fighting and courtship behaviour. Five different aquarium types are presented and assigned to each species so that the specific needs of each species can be taken into account. Nutrition and care as well as the breeding and reproduction of gobies are discussed in detail. Many attractive photos make you want to get to grips with these interesting and rather unusual fish.
