Decapsulated artemia cysts for ornamental fish and fry

Straight feeding stuff for ornamental fish and fry

All the nutrients of the cyst are available as no hatching is necessary.

artemia

Application

Sprinkle into the water several times a day in small portions; do not give too much.

Hatching Artemia nauplii?

Unfortunately this does not work. Once the nauplii have been decapsulated, they die as soon as they are dried for storage.
If you want or need to produce guaranteed shell-free nauplii in this way, you have no choice but to carry out the chemical decapsulation yourself and then immediately transfer the cysts to a suitable breeding container.

50g is more than you think ;o)

Decapsulated artemia cysts for ornamental fish and fry

Very well accepted, perfect for smaller fish/young fish fry, but larger tetras also like to eat the artemia cysts.
I would estimate the size at 400µm - 500µm, so it is not as fine as dust.
It feels like 50g will last forever, so I keep them in the fridge.

Feed the artemia cysts alternately or additionally. Young fish and especially my Florida danios, which are very picky, are happy to accept it.
