- The AQUA-NOA CO₂ long-term test is simply carried out with our check solution for CO₂ long-term tests and attached to a pane in the aquarium with the opening facing downwards so that it is easy to read at all times.
- A suction cup is included in the scope of delivery. The colour changes depending on the CO₂ content of the water. Blue stands for too little carbon dioxide, yellow for too much. Green indicates the optimum CO₂ concentration of 20 or 30 mg/litre.
Why a long-term CO₂ test makes sense
Knowing the CO₂ concentration in your aquarium is very important, as the CO₂ supply is not the only source of carbon dioxide in the aquarium. It is also produced directly in the aquarium through the animals' respiration or bacterial activity in the filter and substrate. Regardless of the type of tank, it is virtually impossible to reliably estimate these processes and you should therefore simply use a CO₂ long-term test, which allows you to easily read the carbon dioxide concentration in the water.
Note
The CO₂ indicator liquid is not included in the scope of delivery of the AQUA-NOA CO₂ long-term test / CO₂ long-term test, you will find it below under "Accessories".
