Züflo - Robert Guggenbühl's top aquarium breeder flakes with spirulina and octopus
General information
Robert Guggenbühl(Honorary President of Aquaria St. Gallen, Chairman of the DCG Switzerland) writes in the introduction to his article in the DATZ:
"My cichlids and killifish in around 40 aquaria want to be fed in a species-appropriate way. What's more, the wild-caught fish I bring back from my trips to the tropics are much more demanding than acclimatised animals."
His many years of involvement with feeding aquarium fish have led to an increasingly clear understanding of the requirements for very high-quality yet affordable fish food.
Attempts are made to do without artificial colourings and added flavourings. High doses of vitamin C and E are used to ensure good shelf life. Different sources are combined to maximise the variety of proteins.
The different sources of protein mean that good growth can be expected. The addition of canthaxanthin as a colouring agent not only intensifies the red pigments, but also the yellow, green and blue pigments.
We now have 3 years of experience with the use of this food. The fish enjoy beautiful colours, good growth and excellent health. The valuable ingredients are easy to utilise and therefore pollute the water less than cheap foods with a high proportion of indigestible ingredients.

Application
Sprinkle onto the water several times a day in small portions, do not give too much.
Due to the absence of added attractants, fragrances and flavourings, it is possible that the flakes may be accepted somewhat hesitantly at first, especially if the animals were previously used to food enriched with such substances. A little patience is required here; after 2 - 3 days the reluctance will subside. You can make the changeover easier by initially mixing the flakes with another food that the fish like to eat (e.g. frozen red midge larvae).

I have found my supplier.
Top quality! Top appearance! My fish are really fond of this food! Since I've been using this food, my fish are less susceptible to disease and look much healthier. They are much livelier. DRAK products are a little more expensive, but in my opinion quality has its price.

The fish love the food!
No reacclimatisation time for me. All the fish love the food!
When you open the tin, you immediately notice the fresh scent! I am totally thrilled.

Top feed.
Top feed, very high in protein and fat. Is therefore mixed with green fodder.
Yes, it took a while to get used to it at the beginning, but it probably just lacks the "flavour enhancers".
I've been feeding it for years now and am more than satisfied.

Super food
Super flake food at first the fish were a little slow to eat it,
but then greedily.

Here as supplementary food
Supplement to the sticks & Bits for all fish that like flake food.
otherwise I'm not a fan of flake food, I feed granules alongside live + frozen food.
but this one is really well accepted and snapped up.
doesn't disintegrate immediately, the flakes drift through the water and the leftovers destroy the shrimps.
I always order small portions but one or two more varieties and store the food in the fridge (doubles the shelf life)

After some initial hesitation ...
Initially hesitant, now the disc tetras eat it greedily like any other food. However, my signal stripe tetras prefer to eat other types of food.
