Peat fibre mix of white and black peat fibres
A wonderful natural product made from pure peat fibres, which are a by-product of the manufacturing process for our peat granules. These are mainly the preserved remains of the leaf sheaths of the vaginal cotton grass(Eriophorum vaginatum) that have grown in the bog.
Ideally suited for breeding stock of the marvellous killifish and other substrate spawners.
Like all our other peat products, peat fibres also reduce carbonate hardness and pH to a lesser extent and also release valuable humic and mineral substances into the aquarium water.
