Peat fibre mix consisting of white and black peat fibres

A wonderful, natural product made from pure peat fibres, which are produced as a by-product during the manufacturing process of our peat granules. These consist mainly of the remains of the leaf sheaths of the common cottongrass (Eriophorum vaginatum), which have grown and been preserved in the bog.

Ideally suited for breeding programmes involving the magnificent killifish and other substrate-spawning fish.

Like all our other peat products, peat fibres also reduce carbonate hardness and pH to a lesser extent and, in addition, release valuable humic and mineral substances into the aquarium water.
