More efficient, more stable, more environmentally friendly: our test shows why wet adhesive tape is the better packaging choice! 🌱📦

We are always on the lookout for more environmentally friendly alternatives to make packaging more sustainable. Wherever possible, we want to reduce plastic and use materials that are recyclable or even biodegradable instead. However, there are major weaknesses with "normal" paper adhesive tape: The adhesive strength often leaves a lot to be desired, and labels or other adhesive material barely adhere to it. This is why, as part of our continuous optimisation strategy - inspired by the Japanese kaizen - we took the opportunity to develop a test device for wet adhesive tape for wet adhesive tape.

Our test experiences

During the two-week test phase we found that packaging with packaging with wet adhesive tape is more efficient and faster - despite the unfamiliar workflow. The parcels are sealed extremely tightly and retain their stability thanks to the strong adhesive. There is a clear advantage for heavy consignments in particular: if all the edges are taped, the packaging remains rigid and does not provide a point of attack for tearing the carton.

Our conclusion

The rental device from the Brunoplast brand brand rental device made a robust and durable impression. During the entire test period, it worked flawlessly and trouble-free. We therefore give it a clear purchase recommendation - this appliance will be part of our packaging process at the next opportunity!
